September 15th - November 21st Fall Session
|
The Fall Session session is 10wks. If you have not sent your registration
in, please do so. If you are a new student you can download the
Student Packet from the "Student" section of the web site and call to
schedule your evaluation. Call us at: 317-769-5161.

August 25th Volunteer Orientation
|
|
Save
the date! We will be hosting a volunteer orientation from
6:30-8:30pm. This orientation will focus on volunteers who wish to help
with the summer sessions as horse leaders and side walkers. Those who wish to
participate will need to commit to an 8-10 week session for one shift.
Shifts are 9:00am-12:30pm, 1:00-4:00pm, 4:00-7:00pm. Even if you are not
able to volunteer for a full shift, we will work with your schedule to offer
you the best experience we can. No horse experience necessary.

| September 3rd- Instructor Apprentice Program |
| Morning
Dove is proud to offer an apprentice instructor program for those
interested in the field of therapeutic riding. This course will cover
the basic requirements for a registered level instructor as
defined by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.
This course meets once a week from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Topics will include instruction techniques, safety, disability
information, equine behavior and care. Because this course does
not cover riding skills for the instructor, it is recommended that
apprentice instructors take riding lessons from a local trainer. |

November 15th Denim and Diamonds |
|
Morning
Dove will be hosting the annual fund raiser at Oak Hill Mansion on
November 15th. The Denim and Diamonds event will include a style
show, silent auction and other fun surprises. Funds raised from
this event will go directly to support the mission of Morning Dove and
help to fund our new facility. If you would like to attend or
