Festool Day of Service

This past Tuesday, a group of gentleman - and one lady! - arrived at Morning Dove in matching bright green shirts and generous spirits!

Introductions made with smiles and handshakes,Team Leader Scott and the crew listened carefully to what task we had for them. I had immediate confidence that this was going to be a good day - they picked up the supplies we were providing, set up the paint sprayer and battery-powered sanders that they brought with them, and organized themselves quickly along the designated fences.

 The turnout pastures of our Morning Dove horses were transformed! Our turnouts are the first you see when driving into the facility - and in just a few hours on Tuesday, the fences were transformed from weathered, tired grey to welcoming, cheerful white! The entire entrance and first impression is changed for the better.

The team rested and refreshed with a lunch that Festool supplied. Before heading back to painting the fences, I invited them into the barn and introduced them to all of our horses! They were delighted, took many photos, asked questions, and gave each horse lots of pets!

Then they trouped out and completed everything ahead of schedule. Before leaving, they meticulously conducted a clean-up sweep of everywhere they had worked, and helped me collect and wash the painting supplies.

This was a super group of people, and we are so grateful to Festool for lending them to Morning Dove, we couldn't be happier!

The Festool team was truly amazing. Their presence was pleasant and winsome, their work careful and professional! As we were saying our thanks and goodbyes, Team Leader Scott said that they would contact us next September's day of service to see what we may need at that time!
