In Memory…
The horse-human connection is so very real. What we witness at Morning Dove is a gift to us as we see our participants experiencing benefits that are often hard to describe; the physical gains are often far more obvious than the deeper, emotional benefits – but both always for the good. We are grateful to be a part of this amazing work! In the face of great loss, we remember the joy Morning Dove’s horses brought to those no longer with us.
Caleb Weis
Caleb participated at Morning Dove during elementary school. Not only was it therapeutic for him, it was an everlasting bonding experience for Caleb and his mother, Trish. Just recently, they reminisced of the wonderful memories made there & how they’d both like to visit again.
Caleb passed away on November 29, 2025.
Trish reached out to us saying, “I want some good to come from the greatest heartache I will ever know. I would like to put forward Morning Dove as a choice for donations for those wishing to honor Caleb‘s memory. Donations in his name can help other families gain the benefits of equine therapy.”
